How does the program work?
Job Plus is a 10-session classroom-based program of two hours each. The total duration of the course is 20 hours over 10 days.

However, it must be noted that 20 hours is the actual classroom activity that is undertaken. There is a lot of home-based work that needs to be undertaken in the form of research and such other smaller projects. (Let us inform you though... Job Plus is a habit that you will keep going back to, for life; whenever you are at crossroads in your career or your job)

Each session of Job Plus will systematically and scientifically transform the way you think about your career and job seeking process.

Following are the 10-day program details:

Part 1 - Career Planning

Day 1
Identify your aspirations

Day 2 Relook your qualifications and skills

Day 3 Filter and prioritise your job opportunities

Part 2 - Job Planning

Day 4
Understand what an employer expects from you (resume writing techniques)

Day 5 Maximise the impact of your application (make the resume work for you by effectively writing cover letters and emails, making telephonic conversations and following-up with employers)

Day 6 Generate new ideas on any topic for Group Discussions

Day 7 Speak meaningfully and with confidence in Group Discussions

Day 8 Learn the various screening tests undertaken by employers and how they can work for you

Day 9 Master interview skills and techniques

Day 10 Learn to evaluate a job offer smartly

The Job Plus program is conducted for a maximum class strength of 30 students that are divided into various group sizes, as per each session's requirements. These can be groups of 3, 5 or even 7 students. Students use Interactive Learning Boards and Cue Cards to understand the nuances of each and every step in career planning and the job planning process.

In addition, each student is provided with activity material and reference notes of over 150 pages.

The classes are conducted by IL&FSETS' certified Trainers who have, on an average, over 10 years of work experience and who can share their trials, tribulations, career highs and lows with the students and make the learning experience unique and lifelong.

The Certified Trainers use specially designed tools, combined with role-play, group-learning sessions, tips from HR experts and exercises based on real life situations faced by job seekers.

Progress is tracked through worksheets, everyday interactions, homework and review cards.

At the end of 10 sessions, students are awarded a Job Plus Certificate.
